AKGOL Dairies and Packaging Industries Ltd has been serving its clients in the dairy sector in Cyprus since 1979. Our factory has been operating in the Karpas region since 1990. The most beautiful region in Cyprus the Karpass peninsula, has unique vegetation which adds a special taste and aroma to the milk of sheep and cow that graze on this land. For this reason, we believe our halloumi cheese is among the tastiest in the world. We produce mainly "Cyprus Halloumi Cheese", the traditional cheese of Cyprus as well as white cheese (FETA) and fresh Kashar cheese, anari (“LOR”or “NOR” in local language) and cheese with holes.

At AKGOL, we have been serving the domestic and foreign markets for almost 30 years, with high quality dairy products which are produced using world class technology. Our vision is to contribute to the improvement of human health and to raise healthier generations.

Our products, which are constantly controlled by our chemist in our own laboratory, are also sent for bacteriology checks at the laboratories of the Cyprus Veterinary Services. Our company has been awarded ISO 9001:22000 and HACCP quality and hygiene certificates.

At AKGOL, We are especially focused on the production of Cyprus Halloumi Cheese; we have been exporting our Halloumi cheese for 25 years with competitive prices to Turkey, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, and Bahrain. We have also been Exporting fresh Kashar cheese to turkey.

AKGOL exports 95 % of its annual production to international markets; the remaining 5 % is consumed domestically. Our company was the leading Exporter in North Cyprus in 1991 and 2004, and has thus twice received the award of “EXPORT CHAMPION”.
