OUR PRODUCTION FACILITIES AND TECHNICAL CAPACITY

Facilities: in May 2006 we completed the construction of our ISO and HACCP compatible 3000 m2 facility that is located in the Famagusta, Karpass region. A total of 45 employees work in our factory and Famagusta headquarters. Our company prides itself  on providing the highest level of product quality , hygiene , and customer satisfaction.

In our newly completed facility our chemists working in our laboratory conduct quality and hygiene control by taking samples from each production batch.

We proudly use world famous technologies from brand names like Jordan Stainless Steel, Kromel, Vestivalia Dixie Union, Pasteur, Cryovac and Multivac in our production process. Our company follows the Technological changes in the world closely. We strive to always improve hygienic and quality standards and to keep up with technology advances.

Capacity: currently, Akgol’s daily milk processing capacity is as follows:

Halloumi line:  35 tons of milk / day
Fresh kashar line: 20 tons of milk /day
White cheese (feta) line: 10 tons of milk /day
Cheese with holes: 5 ton of milk /day

New Products and Brand Names:  We follow new market and developments closely and always take into consideration the current needs and requirements of our customers. Within this framework, we can easily meet requests for a new product or a private brand name from our customers.

Distribution: Export markets, exports to Turkey are transported in special containers with coolers. Exports to Middle East and to Arab countries are also transported in special 40 ft or 20 ft containers that have coolers, via port through Mersin. These shipments take approximately 25-30 days.
Domestic market, distribution to all supermarkets and other points are made with our refrigerated trucks.
